MANKATO (TEC News) – Visitors can walk through the 1940 census with the archives manager at the Blue Earth County Historical Society Heritage Center Apr. 2 at 6 p.m. This was a time when our nation was getting over the Great Depression and was about to enter World War II. Shelley Harrison, of the Blue Earth County Historical Society, said visitors are encouraged to share their own knowledge as well:
