MANKATO - January 29, 2013 -(TEC News) - An article released back in September 2012 contained incorrect information in an assault involving three men from Mankato. On Sept. 2, 2012 around 2:30 a.m. Mankato Department of Public Safety Officer Tiffany Blascho was traveling near the 100 block of Cherry Street when she observed a brawl between two men.
In the intial story posted on Sept. 5, the wife of the alleged victim told police that the man who assaulted her husband was 26-year-old Jordan Hansen. This information was incorrect and we retract earlier statements.
The statement of probable cause indicated that the wife described the male as being White with brown hair in the style of a buzz cut as well as wearing some type of blue clothing. No name was ever stated during the investigation from the victim or his wife. We apologize for any previous articles or statements.
