MANKATO - July 25, 2012 - (KMKO) -- – Felony domestic assault charges have been filed against a 35-year-old woman for allegedly choking her own son during a disturbance early Saturday morning.
Nyarout G. Bang smelled of alcohol and refused to cooperate with officers when they tried to question her. As officers approached, they say they could hear yelling and the victims crying and yelling at their mother. The children were all males and ages 15, 12 and 10. The 10-year-old claims their mom was hitting him and is accused of biting him on the leg and butt. The 12-year-old says his mom tried to choke him and a pregnant neighbor says Bang took her cell phone when she tried to call 9-1-1.
