ST. PAUL (TEC News), September 10 – Minnesota Legislation held a one-day special session to approve disaster relief funds for a handful of counties. June storms swept through southern and central Minnesota, leaving damage to 18 counties. Representative Clark Johnson says the state backs up our people well:
Johnson 1 : “This is where Minnesota sticks together because you never who’s got the next disaster and we do stick together and we do support each other. Minnesota has a long history of doing that well.” :09 sec
$4.5 million in disaster relief was refunded and re-appropriated to counties impacted by the winter ice storm.
