Minnesota Social Security Cuts

MANKATO (TEC News) – Minnesota seniors receiving Social Security could lose around $1.9 billion over the next ten years with one of the proposed modifications. To reduce costs, some want to use the chained Consumer Price Index method. However, using the C-P-I will also cut benefits. Other changes have been suggested for Medicare, such as raising the eligibility age to 67.
