MANKATO (TEC News) – The lighted Martini glass on top of the Wine Café caused lots of discussion over city code violations. The Mankato City Council discussed the rooftop ordinance at last night’s meeting and made some changes. The Wine Café will be able to keep their glass and others will be allowed to add similar forms of signs as well on the Old Town Mankato strip. One of the restrictions the council pointed out is that an approved logo must be on a building at least three stories high.
