MSU Men's Hockey Earns Win and Tie Against Huskies
CLOUD – The Minnesota State men’s hockey team left the Granite City with a three-point WCHA weekend. The Mavericks beat the Huskies 5-2 on Saturday, after a 3-3 ties on Friday. MSU will host BemidjiState next weekend.
Maverick Defenseman One Point From Team Record
MANKATO – MSU’s Kurt Davis’ assist on Saturday night tied him with Todd George for first place on the career scoring list for defensemen in the D-I era. Davis and George are tied with 91 career points.
Minnesota State Woman Earn Big Upset Over North Dakota
GRAND FORKS, ND – The MSU women’s hockey team snapped their 15-game winless streak with a 5-3 win Saturday night over 7th-ranked North Dakota in Grand Forks. MinnesotaState will host 6th-ranked Minnesota-Duluth as ASA Friday and Saturday.
MSU Men's Hoops Win Weekend Pair At Home
MANKATO – The 12th-ranked MinnesotaState men’s basketball team picked up a pair of wins over the weekend, capped up by a 69-59 win over Upper Iowa Saturday night at Bresnan Arena. The 17-and-2 Mavericks will head to Sioux Falls Friday to face Augustana.
Maverick Women Rebound From Overtime Loss
MANKATO – After an overtime loss Friday night to WinonaState, the Maverick women’s basketball team rebounded Saturday night and posted a 68-48 win over Upper Iowa.
Milestone Victory For Gusatvus WBB Head Coach
MOORHEAD – Gustavus women’s basketball coach Mickey Haller earned her 200th career coaching win Saturday night with a 59-39 in Moorhead over Concordia.
Gustavus MBB Hang On To Second Place In MIAC
MOORHEAD – The Gustavus men’s basketball team defeated Concordia Saturday night 82-71 in Moorhead. The Gusties have won six of their last seven. They are 10-and-3 in the MIAC and tied with Carleton for second place, two games behind 12-1 St. Thomas.

Nationally Ranked Gustavus WHOC Tie Unranked St. Kate's
ST. PAUL – 7th-ranked Gustavus tied unranked St. Catherine on Saturday 1-1 in St. Paul. The Gusties will travel to 10th-ranked Wisconsin-Superior Thursday before starting a home-and-home series Friday at home against Concordia.
