MANKATO (TEC News) – Mankato’s Xcel Energy customers will have the opportunity to voice their concerns at a public hearing Monday, March 18 concerning Xcel’s proposed electricity rate increase. The proposed rate increase, if approved by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission, would increase the electricity rate nearly 11 percent. The hearing will be start at 7 p.m. in the Mankato Civic Center. Any Xcel customers and non-customers are welcome to attend. For more information, call 389-3000.
