MSU Mankato Football Coach Gets 5 Year Contract Extension

Minnesota State University and football coach Todd Hoffner have reached agreement on a new five-year contract extension.

The school announced the agreement Tuesday. The deal takes effect July 1, 2018, and replaces Hoffner’s four-year contract that expires at the end of June. No other terms were available.

Hoffner has guided the Mavericks to a 79-20 record in his eight years along the sidelines. Under Hoffner, Minnesota State has won four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championships and six NSIC South Division titles.
