ST. PETER -- A teenager has been arrested for allegedly setting fire to a barn last Saturday in rural Lafayette.
Nicollet County Sheriff Investigator Marc Chadderdon says they arrested 17-year-old Skylar Reed on Monday.
Reed has been charged with Second Degree Arson and negligent fire. Both are felonies.
The fire off of 370th Street was reported around 2:23a. The old dairy barn, used to store various machinery, was engulfed when firemen arrived.
