MANKATO – A St. Peter man is facing a felony charge after allegedly taking money from a LakeCrystal man for a concrete job in May 2009 and then never paying for the cement.
The LakeCrystal man gave 37-year-old Jerret Thompson over $6300 up front, but after GCC Ready Mix delivered 15 yards of concrete to the job site,
Thompson never paid the company.
When contacted by Blue Earth County Sheriff investigators, Thompson told them he had plans to “make good on payments.”
