MANKATO – A team from Minnesota State University placed 17th at the National Concrete Canoe Competition in Indiana. The students infused pre-stressed concrete with recycled glass, plastic and other materials to make the 273-pound craft lighter that water.
The competition included design and oral competitions and of course on-water racing.
