MANKATO (TEC News) – Mankato police will begin extra enforcement starting Thursday looking for underage drinking.

Police commanders say the department will have extra staffing in areas where underage consumption typically occurs. 

Officers will also be looking for people who supply alcohol or provide a place to party in violation of Mankato’s social host ordinance.
