MANKATO (TEC News) – Mankato Public Safety say if you hear someone in your home the first thing you should do is call 9-1-1. Commander Deb McDermott says lock yourself in a bedroom and bathroom and let officers enter and clear your home.
Many recent burglaries in Mankato have gone from persons entering unlocked garages only, to now entering occupied homes.
