Mankato Man A Wizz At Getting Into Trouble

MANKATO (TEC News) -- Word leaked out that a man with a warrant was inside a Mankato bar Thursday night.

Then he got in trouble for taking one.

Mankato police say they went to the Red Sky Lounge just after 10 p.m. Thursday when they learned 23-year-old Jarrell Graves was there and had a Scott County warrant for his arrest.

Mankato Police Commander Craig Frericks says the warrant was for disorderly conduct and Graves was taken to jail were he posted bond and was released.

Hours later, around 3:20 a.m. Friday, a Mankato police officer saw Graves urinating on a house at 603 South Second Street.

This time Graves wasn't taken to jail, but was given a ticket for violating Mankato's new Disruptive Intoxication ordinance.
