Nicollet County Commissioners Ask To Make Highway 14 Expansion A Bigger Priority



ST. PETER (TEC News) – Citing the number of fatal and serious injury crashes recently on Highway 14, Nicollet County Commissioners are asking the state and federal government to make expanding the highway from two-lanes to four-lanes a priority.

From 2001 to 2010 there are been 39 fatal crashes on Highway 14 between New Ulm and Rochester.

There have been 3 fatalities so far this year on the 27 miles of highway in Nicollet County.
