Mankato Liquor Store Robbed At Gunpoint

MANKATO (TEC News) – A clerk was held up at gunpoint Tuesday night at Joseph’s Liquor in Mankato.
Store surveillance cameras show the suspect entering the store in the 400 block of North 4th Street around 9:30 p.m. wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and a distinctive black and white checkered baseball cap.
The suspect, described as a black male, entered with a red bandana over his face and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The store clerk was not injured and there were no customers in the store at the time.
The suspect was 5-5 to 5-10, with a thin build and was 18 to 21 years-old.

He fled the store eastbound on Washington.
