College Students Cause Rukus After Being ID'd For Cigar Purchase

MANKATO (TEC News) -- Two Minnesota State college students were arrested and jailed late Tuesday night for allegedly harassing a pair of convenience store clerks.
All because the clerks wanted to see their IDs when they tried to buy a cigar.
The clerks at the Monks Avenue Quick Trip called 9-1-1 when the two males did not like being asked for identification and would not stop their "verbal harassment" and leave the store.
By the time police arrived around 10:30 p.m. the men had left the store and were spotted walking at the intersection of Monks and Stadium.
Police gave 19-year-old Ginew Dunkley of Moose Lake and 18-year-old Erick R. Pineda Ordoez of Plymouth citations for Disorderly Conduct, Underage Consumption and Obstructing the Legal Process.
Dunkley faces an additional count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
All the charges requested are misdemeanors.
