MANKATO (TEC News) – With reports of residential burglaries on the rise this summer, Mankato police say that makes the upcoming Mankato Night to Unite all the more important. Public Safety Commander Dan Schisel says when you know your neighbors it’s easier to tell when something is suspicious and out of the ordinary.
Residents are encouraged to hold a neighborhood gathering next Tuesday between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Public safety staff and other city leaders will visit the various parties. You can register your party on line on the city’s website.
