MANKATO (TEC News) – The MnDOT snowplow driver remains in a Rochester hospital after his plow was hit by a train last Friday afternoon in the town of Kiester.
The condition of 55-year-old Bradley Bruegger of Wells has improved to fair at St. Marys Hospital.
The plow was struck by a Union Pacific train at an intersection with lights and bells, but no stop arm.
After the crash, the train pushed the plow a considerable distance before coming to a stop.
