Mankato (KMKO)-If you're looking for an opportunity to help keep Mankato's parks, trails and open spaces clean, the city wants to hear from you.  Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks, like picking up litter, raking leaves, reporting park issues, sweeping courts and pulling weeds.  Individuals are welcome, and so are groups.  If you would like to adopt a park or water some of the hanging flower baskets in downtown Mankato, call 387-8621.
