Mankato (KMKO)-Public Works officials are looking to cut down on tree losses in Mankato. Volunteers are needed to help inventory trees. No experience is necessary and trainings sessions are available to learn about the different types of trees. They're offered June 21st and 22nd from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and June 23rd from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the public works center. For more information, contact Parker Sophammer at (507) 387-8621.
