Mankato (KMKO)-The final draft of the Rasumussen Woods and Indian Creek Slough Management Plan will be presented to the Mankato City Council at Tuesday night's meeting.  No formal management plan exists for the nature area yet.  In presenting the draft Tuesday, officials have a goal to protect native plants, habitats, natural systems and geological land forms in the area with minimal environmental impact.  Residents who live near the park have been sent a letter that includes changes made to the initial draft based on citizen input.  Several maps will be available.
Tuesday's city council meeting gets underway at 6:00 pm.
