Mankato (KMKO)-Buying a home can be one of the most rewarding things a person does in their life, if it's done the right way.  The city of Mankato will host two events in June that can help you learn more about the home buying process.  The Home Stretch workshops will be held June seventh and 14th from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.  The forums will help you determine if home buying is right for you, understanding the process, financing and qualifying for a mortgage.  The workshops will be held in the Blue Earth River Room at the Intergovernmental Center.  The cost is $20.  Space is limited, so pre-registration is suggested.  For more information, call 387-8631.
