Mankato (KMKO)-Charges were filed yesterday against two men accused in the robbery and assault of a man in Mankato June ninth.  25-year-old Ramone Williams of North Mankato and 20-year-old Andre Battle, Jr of Mankato are charged with fifth degree assault.  Williams also faces charges of disorderly conduct and criminal contempt.  The charges stem from the robbery of a Bulova watch and $1,000 from a man on Tanager Path.  The victim was also beaten and hospitalized.  Both suspects are due back in Blue Earth County Court next month.
