Mankato (KMKO)-Charges were filed against a Mahtomedi man after leading officers on a chase in Mankato Wednesday.  22-year-old Kevin Schwietz surrendered after attempting to outrun Blue Earth County Sheriff's deputies, apparently in a stolen car, on Highway 14.  Schwietz faces several charges after the incident, one felony count of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and two misdemeanor DWI counts.  He remains in custody in the Blue Earth County Jail.
