Mankato (KMKO)-Starting tomorrow, the Blue Earth County Highway Department will begin construction on County Road 12 from County Road 17 to County Road 3.  A bridge will be constructed along with an interchange at Highway 14.  There will be lane restrictions and reduced speeds until late fall.  This addition is a part of the final stage in the County Road 12 Extension/Highway 14 Interchange project.  It will allow for two miles of arterial roadway, a new interchange and a grade separated crossing of the DM&E Railroad.
