Mankato (KMKO)-With the upcoming holiday, Mayo Healthy System, Mankato and the Minnesota State Patrol are sending out a message to the public about roadway safety.  Authorities say during holidays and nice weather, travel and speed tend to increase.  State Patrol Sgt. Jacki Sticha says troopers are dedicated to enforcing road safety.  Mayo Health Systems-Mankato has extra staff on hand, prepared to deal with a variety of Independence Day mishaps.
