Mankato (KMKO)-Jennifer Nibbe says she doesn't expect forgiveness from the victim's family. The Lake Crystal woman was sentenced yesterday for the shotgun slaying of her husband, James Nibbe, in their home in 2010. Judge Bradley Walker ordered her to serve 204 months in prison and 102 months of supervised release. She must also pay over $11,000 to cover the victim's funeral expenses. The sentence came after Nibbe pleaded guilty to second degree murder. The victim's family spoke at the hearing yesterday, calling Nibbe a liar and saying her crime left them shattered. Jennifer Nibbe was given credit for 700 days served.
