Mankato (KMKO)-Numerous charges are pending against a Mankato man after a brutal assault.  After finding a 25-year-old Owatonna man seriously injured, law enforcement summoned emergency medical personnel and then looked for the suspect.  They found 23-year-old Dustin Lee Murilla with the victim's vehicle and took him into custody.  The victim is currently listed in critical condition.  Murilla faces charges of attempted second degree murder, second degree assault, DWI and kidnapping.
