Mankato (KMKO)-Gas prices are on the rise, but remain considerably lower than they were a year ago.  The average price per gallon in Mankato yesterday was $3.58.  Statewide, gas is selling for as low as $3.32 a gallon in LeSueur and as high as $3.98 in North St. Paul.  The national average is $3.49.
