Mankato (KMKO)-Two Austin men await charges after a pair of incidents early yesterday morning in Mankato.  Police responded to a report of an assault and possible robbery in the 1200 block of North Fourth Street around 2:30 am.  After receiving a vehicle description from Mankato police, a state trooper saw a vehicle matching the description.  A chase ensued and two men were taken into custody near Janesville. Authorities later learned that another assault had taken place about 1:30 am in the 100 block of Glenwood Avenue.  21-year-old Jordan Cox and 20-year-old Jose Chavez, Jr. are being held pending robbery and assault charges.
