MANKATO-August 16, 2012-(KMKO)-Three Mankato residents face charges after a series of search warrants were carried out by the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force. During a search of a residence and a vehicle in the 1300 block of Marsh Street, agents found methamphetamine, meth residue, a spoon, a digital scale and a glass meth smoking pipe. Much of the material was in plain view of and easily accessible to minor children at the residence. 27-year-old Michael Paul Schugel and 22-year-old Rachel Rochelle Stoltzman each face felony charges of fifth degree possession of drugs and storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child or vulnerable adult. Another defendant, 30-year-old Adam Michael Wintz, is charged with fifth degree possession of drugs. Each of those charges are punishable by five years in prison.
