MANKATO-August 24, 2012-(KMKO)-Welcome week kicked off yesterday with new and returning students moving into the residence communities at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The week will be filled with numerous activities including karaoke, sand volleyball, barbecues and more.  Many are enjoying the first opportunity to live in the new Margaret Preska Residence Community as Gage was decommissioned after 40 years of use.  Students will also be able to use bus transportation this year for free, provided they show their Maverick Student ID.  For more information about the college, visit mnsu.edu.
