MANKATO August 27, 2012 – A Mankato man is facing multiple charges including felony assault after allegedly trying to run over an apartment security guard.
 
20-year-old Miller Crawford left the scene after he allegedly tried to run over a security guard at the Briargate apartments early last Friday.
 
Crawford, who lives at Briargate, was tracked down police because he called management to report that a security person had broken his windshield, just asked for a lawyer.
 
The security guard told police that the driver smiled at him when he pointed his Volkswagon at him.
