MANKATO-August 30,2012-(KMKO)-Schools will be in session by this time next week and Mankato Area Public School teachers and administration are excited about the new school year. Between 1,100 and 1,200 students have registered so far this year at East and West High Schools alone with more expected. Entrance conferences begin for students in K through eight on Tuesday and Wednesday to set goals and grades seven through 12 will start on Tuesday. Administration is kicking off the new year with an all-staff welcome today at East High School from 8:00 to 11:00 am.
