Holiday Weekend Driving Advice



MANKATO-August 31, 2012-(KMKO)-More cars will be on the road this Labor Day weekend and more law enforcement will be out as well.  The Minnesota State Patrol will be stepping up their numbers on the highways, paying special attention to impaired drivers.  Last year, 68% of fatal crashes were the result of drunk drivers.  Jackie Sticha of the state patrol office in Mankato tells us to have fun this weekend, but be safe.  Other ways to be safe on the road include buckling up and not speeding.
