MANKATO-September 12, 2012-(KMKO)-Mankato officials plan to continue their fight to acquire state grant money to help pay for the civic center project.  After learning that the city's $14.5 million proposal ranked below 16 other projects in DEED scoring, City Manager Pat Hentges plans to make a public request to compare and contrast project scoring.  Hentges says DEED got it wrong in its project scoring.  Mankato and other communities are already pursuing public data to determine what went wrong with DEED's scoring projections.
