MANKATO-September 17, 2012-(KMKO)-Motorists can once again travel Highway 258 in Brown County. The road opened up this morning. A new bridge over the Cottonwood River has been constructed to replace the old hi-truss bridge. The $1.5 million project provides a new three-span, concrete girder bridge and a southbound turn lane at 200th Street for trucks entering the elevator facility. Traffic had been detoured to county roads since April 30.
