Domestic Assault Blamed on Jealousy
MANKATO-September 19, 2012-(KMKO)-Jealousy apparently led to a domestic assault in Mankato Saturday morning. Mankato police found a woman walking bare foot and crying hysterically along Monks Avenue. After learning she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, 20-year-old Brandon Taylor Young was arrested. He's accused of grabbing the woman by the throat and choking her, then throwing her on the bed several times. Young has been charged with one felony count of domestic assault by strangulation, two domestic assault counts and minor consumption of alcohol.
