MANKATO-September 19, 2012-(KMKO)-Land of Memories Park will be closed for regular business this weekend.  The Mahkato Mdewakanton Association will using the park for the annual Wacipi Pow Wow. The event is being held Friday through Sunday. Everyone is welcome to attend.  A special one hour program will be held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the 1862 war, with reconciliation being the focus.  Admission is $7 for the entire weekend.  Children age 12 and under get in free.
