MANKATO-September 27, 2012-(KMKO)-A jury trial has been set for January second for a 20-year-old Mankato man who allegedly tried to run over a security guard at Briargate Apartments. In court yesterday, the prosecutor in the case against Miller Crawford said he was unlikely to offer any deal that was substantial. But the judge encouraged both sides to talk, saying "most people haven't started to sweat". The judge said he would not be interested in a deal after the November 30th pre-trial.
