Breast Cancer Event in Mankato Tomorrow
MANKATO-September 28, 2012-(KMKO)-The American Cancer Society will host a special event coming tomorrow in Mankato. At 10:00 am, Riverfront Park will be filled with survivors and supporters of breast cancer. It's the first annual Making Strides Breast Cancer 5K walk. An estimated 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed in women in the United States in 2011. In Minnesota it’s more than 3,300. Registration is still open online at makingstrideswalk.org.
