ST. PETER-October 4, 2012-(KMKO)-A January trial date has been set for a Mankato man accused in Nicollet County in the August 2011 assault of his mother.  32-year-old Matthew Rafter was allegedly upset because she didn't answer her phone when he called.  Police say they saw bleeding bite marks on the victim.  Rafter faces two felony charges.
