Permits Approved by Mankato City Council
MANKATO-October 9, 2012-(KMKO)-Two new restaurants were granted conditional use permits to operate at the intersection of Madison Avenue and North Victory Drive. The 38-seat Dickey’s Barbecue and the 40-seat Jimmy John’s plan to open in a new strip mall under construction. The conditional use permits were approved last night by the Mankato City Counci. Pawn America plans a new store located between the Pizza Ranch and Advanced Auto Parts on Madison Avenue in Mankato. A conditional use permit for a new location in excess of 15,000-square feet was approved unanimously by the Mankato City Council. Under the plan, Pawn America would eventually leave their current location in a multi-tenant location.
