MANKATO-October 10, 2012-(KMKO)-Mankato residents are invited to tour the remodeled Public Safety Center on Tuesday, October 23rd.  The center, located at 710 South Front Street, will be dedicated with a program at 12:30 pm, followed by an open house and building tours from 1:00 to 8:00 pm.  With the opening of the center, officials say the city is better positioned to provide optimal response times, especially to West Mankato, hilltop and neighborhoods to the west, south and north of the university.
