MANKATO-October 17, 2012-(KMKO)-Crews have started replacing signs along roads in the Mankato area.  They will replace and add highway right of way property marker signs every 500 feet along Highway 109 from Winnebago to County Road 17 near Easton. The sign replacement begins after the crops have been harvested and/or prior to the next planting season, to ensure owners know where the current property lines are. According to MnDOT records, it has been decades since many of the right of way signs were originally placed for reference.
