MANKATO-October 19, 2012-(KMKO)-It's Marathon Weekend in Mankato. The 2012 Mankato Marathon includes a full slate of events. A health expo will be held at Minnesota State University, Mankato in Myers Field House from noon to 8 pm tomorrow. It features exhibitors and vendors ranging from sporting goods to specialty items. Bring the kids, because the MSU Rock Climbing Wall will be open along with other fun kid’s activities. The Kids K and 5K will be held tomorrow afternoon and evening. The 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon will all be held on Sunday. About 1,000 volunteers have helped make the marathon happen. Over 3,900 runners will compete this weekend.
