Berg Resignation Confirmed
ST. PETER-October 24, 2012-(KMKO)-The superintendent of Nicollet Public Schools has confirmed that an employee accused of stealing money has resigned. 31-year-old Justin Berg of LeSueur County is charged with felony theft. He was accused of taking nearly $1,500 from school concession and ticket sales. Berg had served as the school's Dean of Students as well as Activities Director. Investigators used a hidden camera to catch Berg taking $520 out of the school safe. Berg admitted to taking the money and spending it on bills, gas and football cards, which he planned to sell to make a profit. Berg is scheduled to appear in court on November 27th.
