MANKATO-October 29, 2012-(KMKO)--With the Halloween festivities picking up for the week and following weekend, the Mankato Department of Public Safety is urging residents to take precautions. Children trick-or-treating need to be aware of their surroundings as well as the candy or food they are given. There will be extra patrol officers out this week as well as over the weekend.
